unexpectedly awesome!!!

fantastic location helpful staff large desk free coffee

The location was fantastic. I could easily walk to many attractions. the staff was very cute and helpful. They gave me great city recommendations. my double room included a little seating area and a large desk. having 24/7 coffee and tea in the shared lounge was very convenient!!!

The walls seemed a bit thin. I could sometimes hear hallway noise.

lack of soundproofing noisy hallway

the staff was helpful with directions, a small plus.

i was surprised by the lack of soundproofing. i could hear every conversation in the hallway, even late at night. the noise made it difficult to get a good night's sleep as i heard every door slam and every footstep outside my room. i hoped for a quieter stay and this really impacted my experience.

thin doors early vacuuming

the noise really got to me. i could hear everything happening in the hallway (i think the doors are made of paper). early morning vacuuming was my alarm clock, not ideal when you want to sleep in a bit. (it's a vacation after all!)

excellent location cute staff spacious room

i found the location excellent. the proximity to plaza catalunya and transport connections worked well. the staff was cute and provided a fan . the double room offered a seating area and large desk.

poor drainage room refurbishment

The noise level was REALLY bad. I woke up multiple times due to people talking. the room REALLY needs refurbishment. the sink had scratches, water drained poorly when showering, and the shower head was damaged.
